Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in Kansas is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to process orders and ensure safe, accurate material handling on the shop floor. You will operate cranes and forklifts, inspect products, and set up equipment per work orders to meet specifications.

The role requires reading/writing, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training will cover lean and quality initiatives, with shifts on day, swing, and night allowances on a busy warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment according to work order specifications.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per written instructions.
• Record measurements and maintain measurement equipment.
• Assist in packaging of material and lean/quality activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Train others when required.
