Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• Hands-on understanding of mechanical systems and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Create and interpret mechanical engineering drawings using Ball’s standards and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Design and measure cans, bottles, tooling, and machine parts using advanced tools like laser micrometers.
• Troubleshoot container and equipment issues through hands‑on analysis in lab and manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with the pilot line team to develop sample containers on the plant floor and test against performance specifications.
• Support project implementation, including equipment installation, check‑out, and start‑up.
• Generate technical reports and assist in updating specifications for containers and tooling.
• Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.
