Job summary

Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a full-time Metal Finisher (Polisher) to polish various metal products promptly and accurately. The role requires manual dexterity, ability to handle heavy items, and compliance with OSHA safety rules.

Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, finishing, inspecting parts, and applying polishing compounds with training provided.

Qualifications

Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945.

We are seeking a full time Metal Finisher (Polisher) with the ability to polish various types of metal products in a timely and accurate manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Grind, Sand, Clean and Finish parts using hand tools or power equipment for a high polish mirror finish
• Grind down welds using handheld grinder
• Apply satin finish using stroke sander (will train)
• Use time saver finishing machine (will train)
• Observe and inspect parts to ensure specifications and quality are met
• Apply appropriate compounds to achieve desired finish (will train)
• Must follow OSHA safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties as required
