Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a shop-floor runner to help maintain workflow and support the shipping department in producing factory output. The role requires ability to read blueprints, operate power tools, and work safely on the shop floor.

You will assist production management, cross-train across departments, and contribute to efficient workflow, with PTO benefits and yearly bonuses potential.

Formación

• Experience in metal fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly to achieve objectives.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and be adaptable to changes on the shop floor.

Description:

Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist production manager
• Assist other departments when necessary particularly, Shipping and Finishing.
• Assist in the management of workflow on the shop floor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Product Knowledge in metal fabrication
• Understand blueprints and specifications
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Time Management
• Neat and organized
• Must follow OSHA safety rules and procedures
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
• Ability to adapt to change
• Ability to work with power tools such as, Table Saw, Staple Gun, Nail Gun etc.
• 2 Years of experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• Manual dexterity to handle parts / items
• May have to carry heavy items
• Must be able to see markings on metal at close range to ensure quality control
• Must be able to navigate the factory floor multiple times per shift
• Must be adaptable and willing to cross train

Paid Time Off (PTO):

• Beginning 1/1 after completion of six (6) months: 10 PTO's
