Description

Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. (APT) serves the Food & Dairy Industry designing custom equipment from concept to installation. We have the experience, talent, and expertise to help our customers stay ahead of the competition while giving them the support they need to succeed.

We are looking to add a Metal Finisher to our team. Working a flexible schedule in a clean, climate-controlled shop, you can expect to work with team members to complete sanitary finishes on custom designs. Located in Cokato, MN, you will work at our headquarters in a clean, climate controlled shop with a team environment.

Basic Job Functions:

1. Prepare and polish material to dairy sanitary grades utilizing multiple processes such as: electric grinders, pneumatic grinders, and various hand tools
2. Inspect finished products to verify quality
3. Determine daily grinding duties with team leads
4. Daily production goals based on schedule to ensure on-time, high quality project completion
5. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Requirements

Required:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Ability to follow instructions
3. Basic mathematical skills
4. Ability to read a tape measure
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Preferred:

1. Experience with grinding and metal finishing
2. Experience with sanitary equipment fabrication
3. Knowledge of relative safety standards

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position. At APT, we are committed to offering compensation that is competitive and aligned with market standards, considering factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, and performance. As a result, compensation for the successful candidate(s) may fall anywhere within the stated range.
