Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator – Machine Operator in Harlan, Iowa. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating fabrication equipment to produce metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.

You will read parts drawings, process routings, and production information, while maintaining safety, quality, and accurate production records. Welding is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Reading safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills including dimensions, quantities, metric conversions, algebra, and geometry.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, diligence, and time management skills.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, rollers, punch presses, sanders, drills, grinders, shears, saws, and other fabrication machinery.
• Read and interpret parts drawings, process routings, and production requirement information.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rules, squares, and height gauges.
• Practice the highest degree of safety in performing essential duties.
