Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Harlan, IA is seeking a Fabricator – Machine Operator to set up and operate fabrication equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safe, accurate production.

You will use press brakes, rollers, punch presses, sanders, drills, grinders and other machinery, performing precise measurements and maintaining production records. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills are required; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Basic math skills including dimensions, quantities, metric conversions, algebra and geometry.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, diligence and time management.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, rollers, punches, sanders and saws.
• Use calipers, micrometers, scales and height gages for measurements.
• Maintain highest safety standards while performing duties.
• Read parts drawings and production information and follow routings.
