Job summary

Pro-Type Metal Machining is seeking an entry-level candidate to join our metal fabrication team. You will operate various machinery, keep work areas clean, and assist with prep and receiving orders for customer shipments.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, reading engineering drawings, and the ability to stand for a full shift while lifting up to 75 pounds. A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required, with comprehensive on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand for an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery and general manufacturing duties as directed by supervisor.
• Keep clean and safe work area and workshop.
• Assist with preparation of customer orders for shipping.
• Assist with receiving orders.
