Job summary

The Advance Group is partnering with a growing production team in Waterville, OH to hire a Factory Worker for the Melter/Caster role on 1st shift. This position emphasizes strong attendance, attention to detail, and reliable performance in a metal manufacturing setting.

You will assist with casting, melting, grinding, deburring, inspection, and area upkeep, with opportunities for overtime and a scrap bonus based on performance. Steel-toed boots and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/background screen.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Steel-toed boots and PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with metal casting and melting to produce parts.
• Load and pour hot metal into casts safely.
• Operate grinding wheels for rough grinding.
• Inspect finished parts and identify quality concerns.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Support production goals with timely, quality work.
