Job summary

Pemco Corporation in Virginia is seeking a skilled assembler to position and assemble metal products, following blueprints or verbal instructions. You will read build sheets, use hand, air, and power tools, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must follow established methods and procedures.
• Ability to work under time pressure to meet build requirements.
• Read and interpret build sheets and blueprints.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Learn job-specific skills via on‑the‑job and classroom training.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to unit specifications or blueprints.
• Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners with hand, air, and/or power tools.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently in compliance with safety rules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in training and instruction of others as requested by supervisor.
• May require overtime and additional responsibilities.
