Job summary

American StaffCorp is seeking an experienced assembler to produce metal components by assembling parts and subassemblies. The role requires reading blueprints and production orders to prepare parts and tools.

You will use hand and power tools, welders, and machines to fit parts, perform go/no-go tests, and verify tolerances. The position involves heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. A High School Diploma or GED and two years of mechanical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of mechanic experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Basic math and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal components and subassemblies following work orders and blueprints.
• Study assembly instructions and parts lists, gathering required parts and tools.
• Use hand and power tools and welding equipment to fit parts within tolerances.
• Perform go/no-go tests and inspections with measuring instruments to ensure quality.
