Job summary

The MESA Program at CSU Bakersfield SPA supports STEM students from diverse backgrounds by providing academic support, career development, transfer preparation, and leadership opportunities.

As Project & Outreach Coordinator, you will manage day-to-day administration, budget tracking, and compliance, recruit students, coordinate advising and workshops, and build partnerships with faculty, industry, and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; STEM focus preferred.
• Two years of professional experience with postsecondary students.
• Experience coordinating educational programs, budgets, or grants.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day MESA program operations and grant deliverables.
• Coordinate advising, tutoring, workshops, and student events.
• Monitor expenditures, track budgets, and prepare reports.
• Develop outreach, partnerships, and scholarship opportunities.
