Job summary

The Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) program at University of the Pacific seeks an Assistant Coordinator to support university and school-site programs in Stockton and surrounding districts. You will assist with event planning, MESA Day planning, and coordinate activities with the SOECS Student Services team.

Responsibilities include enacting MESA College Prep and University Program activities, updating the MESA website and social media, supporting classroom and teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and one year of program coordination or eight years of coordination/teaching experience.
• One year of event planning experience for groups of 500+ guests.
• One year of experience working directly with K-16 students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute MESA events, including MESA Day planning and campus visits.
• Assist with MESA College Prep programming for school sites and teacher support.
• Maintain MESA enrollment data and support student staff training.
• Update the MESA website and social media updates.
• Collaborate with the Coordinator and SOECS Student Services team to support program activities.
