Job summary

Merck seeks an MES Specialist (P2) to support and sustain the Company’s MES platform, ensuring design, deployment, and operation align with site processes and standards.

The role collaborates with Digital Steward, MES teams, SAP COE, and operations to drive continuous improvement, system upgrades, and regulatory compliance. Strong problem solving, communication, and manufacturing IT understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or other technical field with 1 year MES admin.
• Or high school diploma with three years MES PAS-X admin experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent facilitation, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and implements continuous process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinates MES access, user management, performance management, qualifications and testing, and may participate in vulnerability assessments.
• Sustains electronic Master Batch Records and coordinates MES administration activities.
• Acts as liaison to MES COE, AMS and Digital Manufacturing organizations.
• Leads MES / MBR deployment activities and site change controls for compliance.
• Troubleshoots with operations to resolve manufacturing issues involving MES.
