Job summary

Celestica is seeking an MES Specialist to lead manufacturing execution systems strategy and implementation across global operations. You will bridge business stakeholders, manufacturing, and IT teams to deliver scalable MES solutions, ensuring alignment with ERP and SAP integrations and cloud technologies.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, requirements gathering, and project delivery, with responsibility for training end users and maintaining governance across SDLC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years in MES, manufacturing IT, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL and JavaScript skills with experience in ERP/MES/SCM.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner coordinating MES roadmap with business units and IT.
• Translate business requirements into scalable MES solutions and define architecture.
• Lead global MES implementations from blueprint to deployment within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Ensure MES integration with SAP and cloud platforms; oversee data and interface quality.
• Lead, develop, and coordinate internal IT teams and external contractors on MES initiatives.
• Provide shop floor operations expertise to optimize production, traceability, and quality.
• Diagnose system issues, propose action plans, and apply troubleshooting best practices.
• Provide system training and create end-user documentation.
