Job summary

CyberSearch is seeking an experienced Site MES IT Coordinator to support MES deployment and ongoing support in a life sciences manufacturing environment. This onsite role at Cincinnati, OH will serve as the site‑level liaison among manufacturing operations, Global MES teams, IT, Quality, Validation, ERP and implementation partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of MES.
• Experience with Rockwell MES (preferred).
• Experience with Werum PAS‑X, Siemens Opcenter, or other MES platforms is desirable.
• Understanding of MES integrations with ERP, LIMS, automation, barcode systems, reporting platforms, and shop floor devices.
• Experience supporting MES implementations, hyper‑care, incident management, RCA, and application support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary site-level IT coordinator for MES implementation and support.
• Coordinate the complete MES project lifecycle from requirements through deployment, go‑live, hyper‑care, and transition to ongoing support.
• Act as the primary liaison between site users, Global MES teams, Infrastructure, ERP, Operations, Quality, Validation, vendors, and offshore teams.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate site readiness activities including infrastructure readiness, user access management, shop floor devices, and interfaces.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and project readiness.
• Coordinate testing activities including UAT and validation efforts.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site MES IT Coordinator to support the implementation, deployment, and ongoing support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a life sciences manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as the primary site-level liaison between manufacturing operations, Global MES teams, IT, Quality, Validation, ERP, Infrastructure, offshore development teams, and implementation partners.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and technical knowledge of MES platforms and manufacturing operations while excelling at stakeholder management, project coordination, issue resolution, and cross‑functional communication. This role is responsible for ensuring successful MES project execution from site readiness through implementation, go‑live, hyper‑care, and steady‑state operations.

Responsibilities

MES Project Coordination

• Serve as the primary site-level IT coordinator for all MES implementation and support activities.
• Coordinate the complete MES project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, go‑live, hyper‑care, and transition to ongoing support.
• Act as the primary liaison between site users, Global MES teams, Infrastructure, ERP, Operations, Quality, Validation, vendors, implementation partners, and offshore development teams.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.

Business Process & Requirements Management

• Partner with Operations and business users to capture, document, and clarify MES business requirements.
• Support business process reengineering initiatives while aligning local manufacturing processes with global MES standards and templates.
• Identify process gaps, local business needs, and operational constraints to ensure practical MES solutions.
• Facilitate technical and functional discussions between site users and global implementation teams.

Site Readiness & Implementation Support

• Coordinate site readiness activities including:
  • Infrastructure readiness
  • User access management
  • Shop floor devices
  • Barcode scanners
  • Printers
  • Manufacturing terminals
  • System interfaces
  • Network connectivity
• Track implementation milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and project readiness.
• Coordinate testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, and support validation efforts.
• Support successful MES deployment during go‑live and hyper‑care activities.

MES Support & Governance

• Manage site-level MES governance by coordinating:
  • Support requests
  • Change requests
  • Enhancement requests
  • Priorities
  • Escalations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience with Rockwell MES (preferred).
• Experience with Werum PAS‑X, Siemens Opcenter, or other MES platforms is highly desirable.
