Job summary

United Pharma is seeking an MES Production Support & Implementation Specialist to deploy, stabilize, and optimize a Manufacturing Execution System in a cell therapy manufacturing environment. You will bridge manufacturing operations, quality, and the MES project team to address floor issues and drive system adoption.

You will provide front-line support during deployment, create procedures and troubleshooting guides, develop dashboards with Power BI, and monitor MES performance to identify trends

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting MES in a manufacturing setting.
• Cell therapy manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to author SOPs and end-user documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MES primary contact between shop floor personnel and the MES project team.
• Provide front-line support during MES deployment and stabilization.
• Investigate and resolve MES-related issues impacting manufacturing operations.
• Create, document, and track support tickets for production floor incidents and system defects.
• Develop and maintain MES procedures, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor system performance, issue trends, and stabilization metrics.

This role will serve as a key liaison between manufacturing operations, quality, and the MES project team, ensuring production floor issues are addressed promptly and system adoption is successful.

MES Production Support:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between manufacturing personnel and the MES project team.
• Provide front-line support to operators and production teams during MES deployment and stabilization.
• Investigate and resolve MES-related issues impacting manufacturing operations.
• Create, document, and track support tickets for production floor incidents and system defects.
• Escalate issues appropriately while adhering to established escalation timelines and procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Documentation & Process Improvement:

• Develop and maintain MES-related procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation.
• Create troubleshooting guides and knowledge base materials to support end users.
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor system performance, issue trends, and stabilization metrics.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Utilize Power BI to develop reports and dashboards supporting MES performance monitoring.
• Create metrics that provide visibility into production support activities, issue resolution, system adoption, and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends and present insights to project stakeholders and leadership.
