Stratasys is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Developer to advance MES/MCS at the Eden Prairie, MN facility. You will design, develop, and support MES workflows, data collection, traceability, and shop-floor tools to improve visibility and efficiency.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations, Quality, and IT to integrate MES, ERP, PLM, and automation systems, enabling real-time data analytics and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years supporting or developing Manufacturing Execution Systems or Industrial Control Systems.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases for data analysis.
• Experience in C++ or comparable languages for manufacturing operations.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP/PLM or similar systems.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols and data acquisition in manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, configure, test, and support MES/MCS applications and dashboards for shop-floor operations.
• Build and maintain electronic work instructions and data collection points to improve operator efficiency.
• Develop integrations between MES, ERP, PLM, and automation systems.
• Support machine connectivity and real-time data acquisition using OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and REST.
• Create and maintain apps, services, APIs, and reporting for digital manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot MES incidents, identify root causes, and maintain system stability.
• Support Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives including data analytics and process automation.
