Worldwise Plastics LLC in Lewisburg, TN is seeking an MES & Equipment Integration Engineer to provide daily support for MES and shop-floor data exchange across production equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and manufacturing systems.

You will define interfaces, test data connections, troubleshoot MES issues, and collaborate with Automation, Maintenance, Engineering and vendors to ensure production continuity, data accuracy, and traceability across lines, including new programs and launches.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing or supporting manufacturing systems, including MES.
• Understanding of core manufacturing processes: production execution, material consumption, production reporting, quality recording, traceability.
• Practical equipment experience: connectivity, PLC data acquisition, SCADA configuration, data collection, or MES interfaces.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, MES relationships and basic troubleshooting using logs and data.
• Exposure to OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Siemens S7, or vendor interfaces; basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to use SQL queries and logs to validate data; strong communication with plant users and teams.

• Equipment connectivity and SCADA data collection; maintain data connections and tag mappings.
• Production incident response; cross-system troubleshooting with automation, maintenance, and vendors.
• Process parameter, quality data, and traceability support; assist parameter downloads and validation.
• Project implementation and on-site launch support for new equipment and lines.
• Manufacturing and logistics systems coordination with SAP PP and master data owners.
