Job summary

Worldwise Plastics LLC in Lewisburg, TN is seeking an MES & Equipment Integration Engineer to provide daily MES support and ensure robust data exchange between production equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and manufacturing applications.

This role emphasizes troubleshooting MES issues, coordinating with Automation, Maintenance, Engineering and vendors, and supporting new programs and line launches, including on-site work at Alabama plants when required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing or supporting manufacturing systems including MES.
• Understanding of core manufacturing processes with MES troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with equipment interfaces or industrial data collection and MES integration.

Responsibilities

• Daily MES support and troubleshooting of production order execution and data capture.
• Configure, test, and maintain data connections between equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and MES.
• Investigate issues using logs, SQL, and monitoring tools with cross-team coordination.
• Support parameter downloads, traceability, and data accuracy for product lots.
• Participate in equipment interface definition, testing, and launch activities.
• Coordinate MES configurations with SAP/AS/RS/AGVs as needed.
• Document interfaces, train users, and pursue continuous improvements.
