Mornings might include a rigorous diagnostic on an intermittent electrical issue, followed by rigging a new engine install. After lunch, you could be out on a sea trial to validate a repair, then back in the shop documenting findings and preparing the next job—always keeping your bay safe, organized, and customer-ready.What You’ll DoDiagnose, service, maintain, and repair Mercury outboard engines with accuracy and efficiencyTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and steering systems across a range of vesselsPerform engine rigging, new installations, and repowers as neededConduct sea trials and confirm repairs are completed correctlyMaintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearlyCollaborate with the service team to deliver high-quality work on scheduleUphold a clean, safe, and orderly workspaceWhat You Bring3+ years of marine technician or outboard service experience preferredExtensive hands-on experience with Mercury outboards strongly preferredProven ability to diagnose and repair marine mechanical and electrical systemsMercury certifications are a plus; ABYC certifications are also a plusExperience with Yamaha or Suzuki outboards is valuedAbility to independently identify issues and complete repairs end-to-endValid driver’s licenseDependable, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced marine service environmentWhy Here, Why NowOn Cape Cod, your work meets the water every day.
