Job summary

Chino Commercial Bank seeks a Merchant Services Rep to support the merchant services department, help with boarding, configure gateway equipment, and assist with PCI compliance. You will work cross-functionally to manage revenue and expenses and assist in growing year over year.

The role involves underwriting merchant applications, providing technical support, reconciling settlement accounts daily, visiting merchant locations to install or repair equipment, and maintaining audit and security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years in financial services or related experience.
• Working knowledge of banking products and branch operations.
• Proficiency with computer terminals and basic software programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchant services strategy including revenue and expenses and YoY growth.
• Install gateway equipment for merchants and support boarding process.
• Review merchant applications for approval and documentation.
• Provide technical support and answer customer calls.
• Reconcile settlement accounts daily; monitor interchange and fees.
• Support PCI compliance: SAQ, scans, and ASV submissions.
• Lead and train staff; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Identify prospects and develop business banking opportunities.
• Perform routine branch and customer service duties as needed.
• Answer phones and direct callers to the right personnel.
