Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build relationships with local retailers, explain the client’s financial services, and drive program adoption across your West Palm Beach territory. This field-based role requires daily visits, independent work and strong communication.

You’ll visit 22–35 stores per day, capture activity with mobile tools, and collaborate with leadership to meet territory goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met
• Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer
• Drive merchant awareness within your assigned territory
• Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees
• Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback
