Job summary

Payarc, a technology-driven payments company, is seeking a Merchant Onboarding Specialist in Greenwich, CT. You will board merchants, configure terminals, and set up payment gateways, delivering responsive support to merchant clients.

In this role you will work with the Client On-Boarding Manager, troubleshoot issues, and guide new customers through installation and setup of Payarc systems to ensure smooth card-present and card-not-present processing.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience required.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical aptitude or willingness to learn.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with internal and external contacts.
• Judgment and resourcefulness to solve problems independently.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Board approved merchants in proprietary software including pricing profiles and reserves.
• Program various payment terminals and perform test transactions for customers to enable card payments.
• Configure gateway profiles to allow card-not-present processing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them independently.
• Provide remote technical customer service via phone and email.
• Analyze accounts to determine best processing solutions for merchants.
• Manage multiple software applications and diagnose potential issues for clients.
• Assist merchants during deployment with training and setup for Payarc systems.
• Create case studies based on new technical issues.
