Job summary

Belk in Alabama is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales and deliver a superior customer experience by creating attractive product presentations, coordinating floor sets, and maintaining visual merchandising standards across the store.

You will lead the team in placing products, signing, price changes, and omni collaboration, while supporting onboarding and associate development, and ensuring operational excellence during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable with technology and Windows-based devices.
• Excellent communication and ownership to drive store objectives.
• Ability to move around store areas and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating cross-functional store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in product placement, floor sets, signage, and price changes.
• Ensure planograms and brand standards are followed.
• Oversee receiving and processing inbound deliveries for readiness.
• Communicate daily goals and supervise merchandising tasks.
• Plan labor hours using forecasts and company tools.
• Support in-store customer experience and stock replenishment.
