Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to serve as the Store Team Leader's go-to for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy.

You will train and coach your team to deliver AEO brand visual standards and ensure floorset execution while keeping the store replenished and guest-ready. You will lead by example, motivate through AEO's values, recruit and develop talent, and maintain safety and asset protection standards while maximizing sales

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales through floorset execution and guest experience.
• Strong coaching, training, and performance feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty (LOD) by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity.
• Lead merchandising initiatives to uphold AEO Brand Standards and visual standards.
• Ensure the store remains guest-ready through effective replenishment and floor maintenance.
• Recruit, hire, and develop store teammates to meet business needs.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to boost team engagement.
• Maintain store safety and asset protection standards in line with company policy.
