Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in California seeks a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to serve as the Store Team Leader's go-to for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy. You will train and coach your team to deliver AEO Visual standards and ensure the store is guest-ready through effective replenishment.

You will drive sales as a Leader on Duty, oversee floorset execution, and coach for top-tier customer service while maintaining brand standards, inventory integrity, and daily

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail merchandising team.
• Ability to train and coach staff.
• Strong knowledge of brand visual standards.
• Experience driving sales and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and analyzing trends to guide decisions.
• Coach team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and uphold AEO Brand Standards.
• Lead and develop team through performance feedback, development plans and reviews while celebrating successes.
• Recruit, hire and train strong talent to ensure adequate staffing for business needs.
• Provide real-time coaching and regular touchpoints to improve team performance and engagement.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards in all store zones, and keep fitting rooms guest-ready.
• Uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, and AEO policies with integrity.
