Job summary

HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Commack, NY is seeking candidates to support receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring an efficient flow of goods to the sales floor while delivering excellent customer service.

You will train Associates, maintain tagging and organization, and collaborate with management on priorities. Ideal candidates have 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months of leadership exposure, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards to keep inventory flowing smoothly onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Maintains backroom organization and recovery standards
• Promotes and protects a safe, clean shopping environment
• Delivers excellent customer service and engages with customers to enhance experience
• Collaborates with management to address priorities and updates progress
