Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Wesleyville, PA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering great customer experiences through effective merchandising and freight processing.

You will assist with store functions, open/close procedures, asset protection, and maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors. The role also covers freight flow, stock orders, and planning to ensure sales is maximized while upholding safety and company standards.

Formación

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and inventory tasks.
• Order and stock merchandise needs and maintain planograms.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clips/panels with sales-friendly items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
