Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will assist the Store Manager in leading associates, focus on merchandising, and handle freight processing to ensure smooth operations and positive customer experiences.

Your responsibilities include opening/closing duties, protecting assets, maintaining store standards, and executing monthly sales plans with a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical activities.
• Capable of working in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store per company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the store.
