Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Cincinnati team. You will work alongside the Store Manager to lead a dynamic group of associates, focusing on merchandising and processing freight to ensure a positive shopping experience for our communities.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain stockroom and sales floor standards, and ensure adherence to safety and company policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities and communications.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the store environment.
• Provide positive, safe interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Support Store Manager with assigned duties such as freight processing and merchandising initiatives.
