The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations at the Cary, NC location. You will drive truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions across the sales floor.

This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, strong workload planning, and the ability to coach teammates while maintaining a customer-ready environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage SOPs and Company programs.
• Strong merchandising and inventory oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading, accurate sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, partnering with store leadership to align staffing and execution to business needs.
