Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Matthews, NC is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing, and promotions to keep the store customer-ready.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, MOD coverage, ship-from-store, RTVs, and backroom organization while coaching team members and enforcing asset protection to reduce shrink and maintain performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience executing SOPs, planograms, and visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Lead truck execution, merchandising flow, and stock replenishment to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to align staffing with business needs.
• Oversee in-stock optimization, replenishment accuracy, and sales readiness.
• Ensure planogram execution and visual standards meet company expectations.
• Manage pricing changes, promotions, Ship from Store, RTVs, and inventory adjustments.
