Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Winter Park, FL to partner with the Store Manager, lead a team, and drive merchandising and freight processing. You will support daily store operations, security of assets, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include managing freight flow, stocking needs (including frozen & refrigerated), and maintaining sales floor effectiveness. A high-energy, team-oriented environment is essential and prior retail/management experience

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Ensure store cleanliness and a presentable environment.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers and staff.
