Job summary

Five Below in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, oversee stock receiving and merchandising, and ensure promotions are highlighted according to corporate guidelines.

You will train and supervise associates, drive sales, and manage costs while acting as Manager on Duty when needed. The role requires at least two years of management experience and strong communication, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures high-quality customer service.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes market plan and inventory processes per corporate guidelines.
