Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Memphis is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You’ll support the Store Manager, supervise a team of associates, and drive merchandising and freight processing to deliver positive community experiences.

You’ll handle daily store operations, open/close procedures, stockroom and floor maintenance, and ensure policy adherence while fostering a safe, friendly environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process freight and manage freight flow per productivity standards.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
