Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Laconia, NH. You will support the Store Manager, lead a team, and focus on merchandising and freight processing to deliver a positive shopping experience.

You will help with store functions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure policies and safety standards are followed, while driving sales and coordinating merchandising plans.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow, stock needs, and monthly planners.
