Dollar Tree Stores in Exeter, NH is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the community. You'll focus on merchandising and processing freight while supporting day-to-day store operations.

The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on maintaining clean, organized spaces and safe, customer-friendly interactions.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain store cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise needs according to productivity standards
• Plan and merchandise clip strips and power panels with sales items
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
