Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Appleton, WI is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and ensuring outstanding customer experiences through effective merchandising and freight processing.

You will assist with daily store operations, manage freight and stock, and uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise needs are stocked.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards and safety guidelines.
