The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and efficient stock management, including freight flow, merchandising, and monthly planning. This is a full-time position at a Dollar Tree store location.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with duties such as receiving and stocking merchandise, managing freight flow, and planning monthly sales initiatives.
