Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Woodbridge, VA. You will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and freight processing to maximize store performance.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety and company policies while delivering friendly, professional customer interactions. This role requires physical work and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking and standing.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and floors.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
