Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight.

You’ll assist with all store functions, maintain stockroom and sales floor, protect assets, adhere to policies and safety guidelines, and ensure friendly customer interactions while supporting store leadership.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process the receipt and return of merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Maintain the sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
