Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional community experiences. The role concentrates on merchandising and processing freight, ensuring store readiness and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily store operations, opening/closing procedures, asset protection, and maintaining stockroom and sales floor to company standards, while upholding safety and policy

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and be physically able to perform store tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
