Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering great experiences for customers at our Sugarland, TX location. You’ll assist with merchandising, processing freight, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store assets and safety guidelines are followed while keeping the store clean and inviting for guests and colleagues.

Ideal candidates have retail and management interest, strong communication, and physical stamina

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and presentable environment for customers and staff.
