Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to assist the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive community experiences. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight to keep the sales floor stocked and presentable.

You will support store operations, maintain safety and cleanliness, and help drive daily performance while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies. This position is full-time based in Pasadena, TX.

Qualifications

• Retail or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock bathrooms as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
