Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Tomball, TX is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a positive shopping experience while focusing on merchandising and freight processing.

You will support daily store operations, assist with opening/closing, protect assets, stock the floor, and help with monthly merchandising plans and stock needs. This is a full-time role in a fast-paced, energetic team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process corporate directives and related communications
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow, stocking, and merchandising
• Plan and implement monthly merchandising and sales planners
