Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to guide a dynamic team of associates, focusing on merchandising and freight flow to create positive customer experiences.

You will support daily store operations, implement policies, and maintain clean, safe, and presentable environments while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and sustain daily physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
