Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Alaska to lead a team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. You will help drive sales, margins, and operational efficiency, with potential cross-training across Specialty and Operations.

The role requires coordinating with peers and district/area support to meet customer needs and align with business objectives. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

2 years of experience leading associates in retail.
3 years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including daily store operations.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

Anticipate customer flow and work demand; adjust schedules for coverage.
Plan for sales spikes and ensure in-stock position to support demand.
Conduct safety walks and coach associates on safe practices.
Lead a team to deliver exceptional service in a clean, safe, well-stocked store; achieve sales and margin goals.
Collaborate with store leadership, District Manager, and Area staff to meet service, sales, and operational objectives.
