The Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead is primarily responsible for overseeing execution of all assigned Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities. This involves working outside in the garden center, ensuring merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planograms and store-specific merchandising standards (e.g., stock, displays, promotion space). The role requires close collaboration with the Merchandising Service Manager, MSA - Plant Service associates, and store leaders to set priorities, identify store nursery service needs, and provide ongoing updates and feedback. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment through daily safety reviews, hazard identification, cleanliness, and security monitoring is essential. Travel is occasional for meetings, training, or supporting neighboring stores.

What you will do

• Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs daily.
• Build relationships with vendors, ensuring merchandise resets meet Lowe's standards.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the team and manager.
• Engage with customers when opportunities arise, assisting with locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise, and responding promptly to questions.
• Ensure signage, displays, and collateral are accurate and in good condition.
• Update wayfinding and product signage, and maintain digital information throughout the store.
• Support merchandising activities like fixture adjustments, stock rotation, and display setup using power equipment as needed.
• Complete and document service and maintenance tasks with photos and details.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards, including repairing damaged packaging, removing trash, and ensuring displays are safe and functional.
• Monitor for security risks and report issues promptly.
• Operate store equipment appropriately and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Less than 1 year 6 months of live nursery or general merchandising experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Less than 1 year 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• 6 months of experience with product merchandising, reading planograms, and setup/teardown of displays.
• Less than 1 year 3 months operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
