Join to apply for the Merchandising Sales Associate role at Tractor Supply Company

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. The role also includes supporting merchandise and fixture assembly, and maintaining signage. The High Volume FAST Team Member interacts with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
• Complete store and cycle counts for inventories.
• Perform price changes and hang signage such as Circulars and Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Ensure planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Strive to provide a shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
• Provide coverage as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required.
• Experience in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise.
• Work shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Ability to handle contact with birds/poultry.
